Berwick Farmers Market
Saturday 8th August, 8am-12:30pm (the second Saturday of every month)
An ongoing local favourite, the Berwick Farmers Market located at the Old Cheese Factory (34 Homestead Road) is a perfect old-school produce market in the southeast! Have a wander through the stalls and discover all the fresh fruit and veg, baked goods, eggs, honey, and more: your true one-stop shop for tasty local produce.
Berwick Half Marathon
Sunday 9th August, 7am-12pm
The Berwick Half is celebrating their fifth birthday this year, and they’ve gone above and beyond to make sure there’s an activity for everyone! Hosted in Berwick Springs Park, there’s five distances to choose from, whether that’s the 400m junior jog, 1.6km kids mile, 5km or 10km fun run and walk or the ultimate half marathon. Perfect for a solo challenge or family day out, you won’t want to miss this.
Morning Melodies with Andrew Portelli
Friday 7th August, 11am–3.30pm
The Cranbourne Senior Citizens Club is hosting an exciting Morning Melodies event ($15 including lunch) with Andrew Portelli! He has played internationally in the US, UK, and Malta, and is now bringing the show back down under. Spend your Friday morning right and have a boogie with your community, don’t wait to secure your spot.
AFL at Casey Fields
Sunday 30th August, 1.05pm onwards
Sunday plans? Sorted! Get a seat in the AFL action for the upcoming Melbourne vs Brisbane Lions match. Only a short 10 minutes’ drive from Meridian, and with tickets starting from $15 per person, get ready to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the game and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Walk and Talk group
Tuesdays in August, 9:30am-11am
Looking for an easy way to stay active and social? The Walk and Talk group meet at Balla Balla Community Centre every Tuesday to enjoy a morning of fresh air and good chats. This event allows you to walk at your own pace and sip on a well-deserved coffee with your peers at the end.
