We’re thrilled to announce that the Stage 32 District Park is progressing ahead of schedule and will be opening its gates to the public sooner than expected! This 2.72-hectare District park is set to be a fantastic new hub for the Meridian community and beyond.
Exciting Updates
The park is rapidly taking shape, and recent developments include:
- Sports Court Ready for Action: The sports court has been completed with a fresh layer of rubber, making it perfect for a variety of activities.
- Essential Amenities Installed: Toilets are now in place, ensuring convenience for all park visitors.
- Pump Track Taking Shape: The pump track has been painted, adding the final touches to this exciting new feature
- Greenery Coming Soon: Planting is scheduled to commence within the next two weeks, bringing life and colour to the park.
Estimated Opening
We’re delighted to share that practical completion is anticipated for October 2024. This means we can look forward to the park’s grand opening shortly thereafter, pending necessary authority approvals.
