There are many so many reasons to join our growing community, but don’t take our word for it, hear from some of our residents about why they chose Meridian.
1. When you first started looking at selecting a place to call home, what were you looking for in a new community?
We really wanted somewhere that we could grow into. We had a young puppy at the time and we wanted to be close to parks so she could run around. We found Meridian was very forthcoming in providing a community for families and people like us where parks were always within walking distance no matter which block you bought. Being within walking distance to amenities such as Bunnings and Aldi which opened recently was just an added bonus!
2. Why did Meridian tick all the boxes?
The location – Being close to family as Callan grew up in Berwick and also having parks and shops so close.
After initially meeting with Dan from the sales office he explained the big picture for Meridian and what they wanted to achieve in the near future. This really appealed to us and we felt Meridian was the perfect place to call home.
3. As a resident how has Meridian changed since you joined the community? What are you most looking forward to in the future?
Being one of the first to move in from our stage it was quite bare around us and since then houses kept popping up every day. We watched Central Park transform from a pile of dirt to a place where we can kick the footy and play fetch with our dog. Seeing all the new shops open up in the Summit Business park just down the road has also been exciting. We’re really looking forward to seeing that being fully completed and what it has to offer for all residents. We’re also looking forward to the new sporting complex and retail shops opening up hopefully in the near future in Meridian central.
4. You’re not new to building (as this is your second home at Meridian!) but what are you looking forward to most about building your new home?
A bigger backyard! Being able to upgrade to a bigger block and bigger house and still stay within the meridian community has really been a dream come true for us. Being able to build our dream home at an affordable price and still be within the city of Casey and to be close to our family and friends, there’s not much else we could of really hoped for in this community.
5. What is it about living in the City of Casey you are most looking forward to?
Seeing where it ends up in the next 5, 10, 15 years. Callan grew up in Berwick and used to feed cows in the morning at St. Catherines Primary School just down the road. It’s already changed so much in the last 20 years and it’s exciting to see what new experiences await!
