Major Road Projects Victoria and Big Build Victoria, have just entered the consultation period for their potential future Thompsons Road and Berwick – Cranbourne Road Intersection Upgrade. It’s time to help shape a key access point to our community!
They are seeking local feedback to help inform the planning and development of the design options for this exciting project.
For Local Businesses, Local Residents and Visitors of Meridian and the wider community; this intersection is an integral part of the daily commute through Clyde North. Major Road Projects Victoria, is considering potential options to upgrade the intersection including but not limited to:
- Replacing the roundabout with Signalised Traffic lights.
- Investigating options to improve active and public transport at the junction.
The intentions of this planning process are to seek possible solutions to help reduce travel times, improve safety and cater for population growth and increased vehicle movements as Clyde North continues to thrive.
