The sunshine was out and the Easter cheer was flowing at the Meridian Easter Extravaganza held at the Stage 25 Park in Meridian Central! On March 16th, the Meridian community hopped on down for a ripper day filled with Easter fun.
The littlies went bananas for the surprise visit from the Easter Bunny himself! There were plenty of smiles and plenty of play as they got their photos taken with the fluffy fella. Of course, no Easter sioree is complete without egg painting, and the park was a kaleidoscope of colours with everyone creating their masterpieces.
It was a great chance for residents to catch up with their neighbours and make some new mates.
And let’s not forget the fun! We had an animal farm filled with cuddly critters, lawn games to keep everyone entertained, and comfy picnic areas. To top it all off, there was plenty of goodies such as fairy floss, popcorn, ice cream, a food truck, and even a coffee van – what more could you ask for?
It was a fantastic Easter celebration and a cracker of a day for everyone involved. It was so great to meet so many of you – here’s to many more egg-cellent get-togethers in the future!
